The verses as quoted above set an astringent battle plan for these end days, one that the true remnant and church of Christ must fully grasp for the victory that has been laid before us. It helps us understand in the most simple ways, how the power of the Holy Spirit working through us will eradicate the kingdom of darkness. I pray the Holy Spirit gives us the words and necessary knowledge for this most simple plan, somewhat uncomplicated yet the results are completely beyond belief.
The kingdom of Darkness is utterly built on one premise, a foundation of lies and deceit. The strongholds in the Kingdom of Darkness are always anchored on a lie. In their rule of every nation, province, city and principality, it is imperative that dominance be secured at every level with a lie. The falsehoods lay hold of the minds of the citizens, individually and collectively, as they partake in various social and economic groups. These principalities perpetuate their lethal goods of lies in the spheres of influence such as Religion, Family, Business, Government, Media, Education and Entertainment. For example in Education we have the principality stronghold of Evolution which indirectly denies God’s eternal hand in Creation. Every nation, society, tribe, group has a strong man or Prince (Principality is the sphere of authority of a Prince) that wills and sustains the hold of dominant lies.
As Followers in the Steps of Jesus Christ, when we daily renew our minds, we void ourselves of these lies; only the lies we believe can hurt us. One should often ask God to empty us of all the lies of these demons. When Jesus Christ our Lord told us to go to all the world and preach the gospel, He was simply instructing us to cancel the lies by which Satan rules the world in all spheres of influence. When the Holy Spirit preaches the word of God through us, He casts down these principalities by dislodging the lies by which they hold unto power; for the word of God is a two-edged sword that conquers all. It is that simple, speak the word of God by the power of the Holy Spirit casting out devils and principalities; The power of the Holy Spirit cannot work through one that knows not love, God is love and two can walk only if they agree. Love and Wisdom are often interchangeable; Humility coupled with the knowledge of Love is the law of Grace. In the final victory, Jesus will destroy Satan’s kingdom by only a Word; it is that simple.
Revelation 19:21“And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.”
Submission to the Word of God makes it possible for us to resist the Devil by the power of the Holy Spirit, only by the power of the Holy Spirit. It is written that Jesus Christ “When he was insulted, he didn’t retaliate with insults; when he suffered, he didn’t threaten, but handed them over to him who judges justly”, this is the ultimate example of submission to the power of the Holy Spirit, Our Lord did not retaliate instead in prayer and thanksgiving He submitted everything to our Righteous Heavenly Father. We need this concept in our daily lives if we are to portray the true person and glory of Jesus Christ. The cross requires that we submit to all kinds of harsh treatment, trusting in only God the Father and Our Lord Jesus Christ to save us by the Power of the Holy Spirit; our predicament is as a result of our Love. These principalities hate us for we are the instruments of their destruction, our lives in Christ testifies daily against them through our righteousness in the blood of our Lord Jesus by the same power of His resurrection.
When we fight back without submitting to our Righteous Heavenly Father, we lose our testimony; the word of truth that conquers all darkness. The battle plan and terms of our victory are quite uncomplicated, when we suffer we do so not in carnal strength that cannot withstand but in the eternal power of the Holy Spirit which upheld Christ and is able to uphold us. Take courage, God in Jesus Christ who called you has given you victory, He knew how many times you would fall before you were created. Stand now and do not be afraid for our victory lies in He who is All in All.
“Speak, live without fear for in truth you have all authority over Satan; only what we allow will be allowed by the Father in Heaven; what we lose no one can bind, what we bind no one can lose.”
“In the past these demons, principalities hid behind the acts of men, now Jesus has made an open show of them, what was hidden is so apparent; love man and commit them to God, and your word of truth shall cast out every work of Satan.”
“Satan through the world system has set up gates of entrance to frustrate us at every stage of life, but the gifts of the Holy Spirit breakdown these gates and gives us the necessary longsuffering, patience, love and perseverance to conquer all in the word of God.”
