The Tree of Life

2 Peter 1: 4-7

“Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.”

We are like trees planted in the garden of God, yielding fruits that the Father may partake thereof. Jesus Christ, as he sought the fruit of a fig tree, today seeks the fruits of His Bride, the Church, that we may be partakers of the great love of Love.

We were Created by Love (God) for Love (Fruit) for Oneness; for the Fruit is of God. We Love because He loved us and circumcises our hearts to love through the Blood of Jesus Christ and indwelling the Holy Spirit.

1. Faith is the Mustard Seed sown by Jesus Christ, the word.
2. Virtue is the Taproot of the tree of life, attached to the land by the waters, which is the Holy Spirit (Keeper of the law of Righteousness). The Holy feeds Us, for He cannot sin.
3. Knowledge of Good (The Truth) and Evil (falsehood) is the Roots; We chose Truth which is the way of Wisdom rooted in Fear of God. We surrender our will.
4. Temperance (self-control) is the tree’s Trunk to remain on the highway of righteous steadfastness.
5. Patience (Perseverance) is the Branches; by patience, we receive the will and promises of God at the appointed time.
6. Godliness is the Stem and Leaves, the bond of Holiness, and living in God’s Presence in the heavenly. They are often watered in the morning dew, in the Glory.
7. Brotherly Kindness is the flower and the unity of Christ’s Church in a great manifestation of God’s Will.
8. Charity (Love) is the Fruit, the fruit of the Holy Spirit that the Father so desires of His Children through Jesus Christ. God is Love.

Salvation is at the door, and The Father seeks the fruit of Love in us. At the end of all things, the question is:

“Did you reject Love?” Or “Did you learn to Love?”

Those who reject Love embrace hate, evil, selfishness, and all things bad. The Father has said that those who reject Love will not dwell in His Holy Mountain; this judgment is proper. Can anyone reject Love and claim righteousness or innocence? Can God’s judgment on those who reject Love be defendable? 

God put His word above His name; He is subject to His word and Love: He has humbled His Greatness, His Name, and His Glory to make His Word which is His Love, the focal point of all creation. Then bore “The Cross of Freewill,” “The Cross of Sin and Redemption,” and “The Cross of the Indwelling, Salvation, and Resurrection.” 

Who can say, “We rejected Love and are Just?”—no one in all eternity.
