Why Does a loving God Allow So Much Suffering and Evil?

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Proverbs 3:4-6So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

1 Corinthians 13:6 “(Love) does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth”

Romans 8:14 “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”

John 1:11-13“He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”

 Beloved,

There is great confusion on the Earth; many equate Love with Intimacy.  Unrequited Love never leads to intimacy; only requited Love leads to intimacy. Unrequited love is a mere sentiment.

With the Lord God, Creator of the universe, infinity past, present, and future, and all knowledge and wisdom is revealed through His Son and Word, Jesus Christ. God has given us the free will to pursue knowledge, wisdom, truth, and life.

Can our apprehension of Him be greater than His truth?

This is where men are confused. Loving God on our terms will not lead to intimacy, which is religion (Man’s understanding of God). True intimacy leads to life, for the will of God in His Holy Spirit makes us the “Sons of God,” where intimacy permeates.

The love of God gives us grace in His Word, Truth, and Christ. But it is the requited Love that brings us to intimacy and life.

God’s unrequited Love by men, a faculty of Free will, is responsible for the suffering and evil on earth. Men in bondage to evil are incapable of Love or intimacy, which is why the Father sent Jesus Christ to set us free to love through the provision of the Holy Spirit (God in Us: Intimacy).

Love is a grace through The Truth and The Word of God; Intimacy is the affixed indwelling of The Spirit of God.
