The Sacrifice We Trust: Faith Crusted in Love

Hebrews 11: 1-2 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report.”

Hebrews 12: 2 “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”

Luke 22:32 “But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.”

Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

There is a well-liked and significant saying “Christianity (the life of trusting Christ) is not the sacrifice we make rather the sacrifice we trust”. Trust, Belief and Faith are synonymous with utter conviction.

The Lord Jesus once gave me an assignment, and I strayed in execution. He came to me and asked me “Can you trust me?”, to which I answered YES, then He asked “Can I trust you?” to which I floundered but then said AS YOU ENABLE ME. At that point, I did not get the meaning, until a few years later as the Lord asked me the same questions. This time I was quite confused, that was until I got the interpretation “Can I trust you to trust me?”

Then recently there was a lot confusion, The Heavenly Father said “You who know my heart Pray”. I was taught that we must draw the seed of faith-filled prayer from the Heart of God the Father, that seed is Christ the Word of God; The Heavenly Father’s Heart is the seed container. Prayer that does not draw seed from the Father’s heart is Faithless and a Dead-work; faith outside His will. The Holy Spirit is the will of God and Christ is the Word of God, “His will performs His Word”. This is how the Father eats from our hands and we eat from His hands in a reciprocal sharing of Love and essence; oneness.

Faith in the Word is our Seed to God that enables the explosion of Love. The Bible says He holds us in the Palm of His hands, when we present the seed of faith in His word, the Father encrusts it with His Love that gives it external life; this is how to live in the Palm of His hands.

Adam and Eve’s primary sin was a loss of faith in God, for they did not trust His Word. The enemy’s primary and only attack is to make us lose faith with God; If our Faith remains nothing can move us. We are the only ones that remove the encrusting of God’s palms and Love through our loss of Faith in the Word Jesus Christ; the reason why the word became flesh to restore faith in the Father through the indwelling of the spirit, and how greatly the Holy Spirit enables us.

The finished work of the Blood and the Cross removes all hindrances while the resurrection restores hope and faith through love that is sustained by the Holy Spirit. Faith through trials and tribulations is a necessity, as it is said “It is only through hurt and pain we truly learn to Love”, this may sound like an oxymoron but it is hard to know Good if you have no knowledge of Bad. This is precisely why before the fall of the angels, the Father permitted the Knowledge of Good and Bad for all eternal beings. “The Fire denotes Love to one and to the other Corruption”

Faith grows through meditation and the hearing of the word of God, meditation is more than quiet remembrance. What we continually see, read and watch these are equally aspects of meditation and heard sermons. All TV programs are sermons; they teach by entertainment and exchange of ideas. So, what sermons are you listening to? While I was watching programs that I considered clean, the Holy Spirit said to me “This is hurting your faith”; wow I was putting faith in the things of man instead of seeking God’s report, how subtly we stray (everything we see, read or experience has a testimony).

Faith is an act of worship only God the Father deserves. When we are at “Heart to Heart” with God, the seeds of His heart flows freely to our heart; we must guard our hearts jealously that Faith may grow with the help of the Holy Spirit. The Lord Christ Jesus commissioned the Holy Spirit keep us in the Trust that never fails.

For us who present our seed of faith in the Word continually, The Father is continually sending His Word and Spirit for all eternity.  I had often imagined the prospect of living eternally holy with The Holy God, but now in the rest of faith it seems all so natural and all so conceivable.

So, what is faith? Faith is believing that He is who He says He is, Jesus Christ the Word, The Holy Spirit, The I AM, the Fullness of All Things, The All in All, All Love, All Good, All Joy, All Peace, All Kindness, All Faithful, All Mercy, All Grace, All Patience, All Gentle, All Life, All existence.

It may hard to assent but we are a living evidence of Him that is “All in All”. To deny God is to deny your own existence; it a great folly.
